TikToker shared a pickle jar flower vase project that is so simple, even beginners can pull it off. Start by selecting a shallow, bowl-shaped mold that is larger than the jar in diameter. A plastic bowl may be easier to release the cured cement from than a ceramic bowl. Coat the mold in oil to prevent the concrete from sticking or cracking. Then, place the jar open side down into the bowl and use a spoon to fill in cement around the rim until it sits level about one fourth of the way up the jar. Let that fully cure and release it from the mold. Then, fill the mold with cement to about the same level and press the bottom of the jar into the cement. Once that is fully cured, release it from the mold. Clean up any rough areas and you’re left with a stunning modern flower vase.
